Community Library, Takali Chana, Deoli, 30th November 2021
Anoop Kumar, Director, Nalanda Academy inaugurated Satyashodhak Mahatma Phule Community Library in the village Takali Chana Deoli, Wardha on 30th November 2021. The library has been established with the help of local community leaders. Nalanda Academy provided books and other learning resources to the library.
Students Workshop at Bela, Bhandara, 17th October 2021
A day long students workshop was organised on the occasion of 13th Death Anniversary of Saheb Kanshiram. Nearly 100 students from nearby villages attended the workshop. The workshop focused on higher education, its importance and opportunities for rural students.
Education Awareness Camp, Tumsar, 26th September 2021
An Education Awareness Camp was organised on Sunday 26th Sept 2021 at I-TECHSPL, Tumsar in Bhandara District. A team of Nalanda educators guided about different professional courses available to students after 10+2. Also students were informed about various opportunities in foreign education and scholarships.
Abhiyan ATL Sciences Lab, 10th August 2021
On 10th August 2021, Bhagirath Bhaskar High School, Bhandara run by ‘Bhagirath Bhaskar Education Trust’ inaugurated an ATL Science Lab for their students. It has been named as Abhiyan ATL Science Lab in the memory of Late Abhiyan Humane, Founder of Nalanda Lab, Wardha.
Students Workshop at Sindhewahi, Chandrapur, 28th February 2021
Nalanda team conducted a day long workshop on ‘Opportunities in Higher Education in India and Abroad’. The program was organised by Jivak Foundation in association with Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Abhyasika and Nalanda Academy alumni group from Sindhewahi taluka. The workshop was attended by over 200 students and parents.
Community Library, Dongargaon Sundari, 3rd January 2021
Abhiyan Library, Dongargao has been established by Nalanda alumni Vinod Bhoyar in his village, which lies in one of the remote areas in Gondia district. The Library is presently catering to over 100 school children, providing them the space and all reading resources to do their studies.
