A Collective of over 300 women alumni of Nalanda Academy with an aim to build a network of women students from underprivileged backgrounds in higher education

Sanghamitra Collective organizes meetings, workshops and career guidance sessions by bringing successful women professionals and scholars to interact with women students at regular intervals. At present it is engaged in creating a network of women students pursuing undergraduate courses in Science and Technology at the state universities.

The Sanghamitra Collective invited 28 women achievers from diverse backgrounds, from different parts of the globe, to celebrate our community’s hard-earned successes on the occasion of the birth anniversary of one of our greatest icons Savitrimai Phule. The event, divided into 3 sessions (DeepStambh, Pradipta and NavKiran) was held online on Digital Nalanda platform.

Rural Students Guidance Workshop, 22nd Oct, 2018


With the help of 12 women Nalanda Alumni, the Sanghamitra Collective hosted a students workshop at village Daigwhan (Heti) in Hinganghat Tehsil of Wardha district. Our Alumni interacted with over 100 girl students along with their parents.

Krantijyoti Savitrimai Phule Education Fair, 27th May 2018


In this event, the Sanghamitra Collective invited around 100 scholars from 30 premier universities and other educational institutions to provide career counselling and guidance to the rural students in different academic disciplines. The day-long educational fair was attended by over 1000 students and parents from Vidarbha region in Maharashtra.

SC, ST, OBC, NT and DNT Women in Higher Education: A Conference, 3rd January 2017


Attended by over 300 women students and parents in Wardha, the conference brought together many women research scholars from across the country to share their experiences with the young students.
