Community Outreach Programme at Village Khairi

On Buddha Purnima, May 5th, 2023, the Nalanda team, led by Ajay Khairkar, visited Khairi village in Seloo taluka, Wardha district, to conduct a student interaction and guidance session. Over 100 students from Khairi and nearby areas attended, eager to learn and engage.

Ajay, a Nalanda alumnus currently pursuing a PhD at the University of Manchester, generously shared his insights on higher education and offered guidance to the young attendees.

This session is part of our initiative to reach out to the community and share our guidance and resources with students who are unable to join Nalanda. During the event, Team Nalanda also took the opportunity to felicitate students who actively participated in the general awareness quiz organized by Nalanda Buddha Vihar, Khairi, in collaboration with Abhiyan Library, Khairi.

This outreach effort reinforces our commitment to empowering students and fostering educational awareness in the community, inspiring them to pursue their academic goals.
