He explained that this is what is happening in our brain while we are thinking. He also discussed the concept of memory and how it is the output of a highly trained neural network. He argued that consciousness is an emergent property of the brain. It is possible that we could create a machine that is conscious, but that it would be very different from human consciousness.

He concluded the lecture by saying that he is optimistic about the future of artificial intelligence and consciousness. He believes that we will eventually be able to create machines that are as intelligent as humans, and that this will have a profound impact on our lives.
